The Cut of Her Jib is a razor-sharp dark comedy coming to Cyprus in November 2026, with performances in Limassol, Nicosia and Paphos. Written by multi-award-winning playwright Kathleen Ruddy and presented by Rubber Ear Productions, the play arrives fresh from a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Festival 2026 and runs for 70 minutes.

🎟️ Ticket prices start from €22 (Limassol, Nicosia) | €23 (Paphos).

Belinda Crabbs' husband vanishes, leaving behind police tape and thirty years of marital exhaustion. Enter Barbara, the cleaner with forensic instincts and impeccable timing. What unfolds is a wickedly funny dismantling of marriage, class and sex — delivered with biting one-liners and delicious cruelty. Female rage detonates. Widowhood, it turns out, can be an upgrade — and menopause absolute murder.

From the writer of Sex, Chips & Ouzo, Death of a Playboy and The Devil Wears Primark, Kathleen Ruddy delivers what critics have called "a belter of a show" and "like Fleabag meets a Scottish Desperate Housewives."
