The village of Agros celebrates the Presentation of the Virgin Mary to the Temple with a traditional panigiri, bringing together religious traditions and the atmosphere of traditional Cypriot village life. As part of the celebration, stalls offer local products and traditional sweets. On the evening before the feast day, a church service takes place, including a procession of the holy icon around the church.
