Piano Recital: Pavle Krstic

Continuing its long-standing collaboration with the Keyboard Charitable Trust in London, the Pharos Arts Foundation presents the young pianist Pavle Krstic in his Cyprus debut. Praised by the press for the individuality, sensitivity and lyricism of his playing, he has won more than 40 prizes at international piano competitions, including the Horowitz Piano Competition in Kyiv and the Pietro Argento International Music Competition in Italy, and has appeared at the Ljubljana Festival, the Ferrara Piano Festival and the Chopiniana Festival in Buenos Aires.

The programme moves from Chopin's late Barcarolle and Rachmaninov's complete Moments Musicaux into the sound-worlds of Ginastera and Séverac, ending with the piano transcription of Stravinsky's ballet The Firebird. The concert is supported by the PwC Foundation and PwC Cyprus.
