Ο Ελληνικός Ορειβατικός Σύλλογος Λευκωσίας (ΕΟΣ Λευκωσίας) προσκαλεί όλους σε μια δροσερή φθινοπωρινή πεζοπορία στο εμβληματικό μονοπάτι Περσεφόνη, στο Τρόοδος. Η διαδρομή είναι σκιερή, δροσερή και απευθύνεται σε κάθε άτομο ανεξαρτήτως ηλικίας που διαθέτει τουλάχιστον μέτρια φυσική κατάσταση.

🗓️ Πρόγραμμα Κυριακή, 4 Οκτωβρίου 2026 | 09:00 – 12:00 (Πλατεία Τροόδους)

Αφετηρία: Πλατεία Τροόδους, μπροστά από τις εξοχικές κατοικίες CYTA (Είσοδος κατασκηνωτικού χώρου Τροόδους, περίπου 1 χλμ. πριν την πλατεία ερχόμενος από Κακοπετριά).

Βασική διαδρομή (Βαθμός δυσκολίας: 1 – εύκολη): Μήκος: 3 χλμ. (6 χλμ. με επιστροφή) Χρόνος: περίπου 2 ώρες

Σημεία ενδιαφέροντος: Βρετανικό Νεκροταφείο Τροόδους, πυκνό δάσος Μαύρης Πεύκης, δάσος αόρατων και εξαιρετική θέα στη θέση Μακριά Κοντάρκα.

EOS Lefkosias (Hellenic Mountaineering Club of Nicosia) invites hikers of all ages to an easy, shaded autumn walk in the Troodos mountains, Cyprus, on Sunday 4 October 2026. The route follows the famous Persephone trail, named after the ancient goddess of spring, and offers lush pine forests and panoramic views.

The hike starts at Troodos Square, in front of the CYTA holiday cottages (Troodos campsite entrance, approximately 1 km before the square when approaching from Kakopetria). The trail is cool, shaded and fully accessible to anyone with at least moderate fitness.

Main Route (Difficulty: 1 — Easy): Distance: 3 km (6 km return) Duration: approx. 2 hours

Points of interest: The little-known British Cemetery of Troodos, dense Black Pine forest, Cedar (Invisible Oak) forest and a spectacular panoramic view at Makria Kontarka.
