Ancient Olive Trees Festival – Paramali

Paramali, the village with the unique olive oil from centennial olive trees, with the delicious green crushed olives, and the wisdom and knowledge of producers from 16 different communities, invites you to a unique event where centuries-old olive trees are honored in all their glory.

Olive oil, in addition to being a key ingredient of the Cypriot diet, is linked to good health, history, culture, traditions and religious ceremonies of our country.

Paramali, which was a royal estate during the Venetian occupation, has been blessed with a very large number of ancient olive trees, which are a point of reference and part of the cultural heritage of the village, as well as a source of inspiration for the festival that will honor them, emphasizing their value, as well as their unique olive oil.

With the centuries-old olive tree as a symbol and source of inspiration, and its unique olive oil, 30 exhibitors, producers, artists, educators, and musicians are preparing to welcome you to Paramali on October the 11th.
