The 2nd Argaka Avocado Festival celebrates one of the area’s characteristic agricultural products with an afternoon of local flavours, music, dance and activities for the whole family.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy live cooking demonstrations featuring avocado recipes , prepared by chef Christos Christodoulou, Chryso Lefou , and students of the Polis Chrysochous Hotel School .
The festival will also feature the Argaka dance group , food and drink stalls, exhibitors, and an experiential workshop for children .
The evening’s artistic programme will feature live performances by Eirini Pelagia and Kyriakos Ch’ Andreou .
The festival is held under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Mr Costas Kadis .
