About
The Attikon is one of the oldest cinemas of Paphos, opened in 1938 and left abandoned for years until it was restored for the city's 2017 European Capital of Culture year and reopened as a cultural space. It now runs under the Kimonos Art Center as an open-air venue for screenings, theatre, concerts and exhibitions. Its regular fixture is Garden Screenings, a summer run of Cypriot and world films in the open-air theatre every Wednesday and Friday.
