About
The Amiantos Astropark is a stargazing site at Amiantos, high in the Troodos Mountains, run in connection with the Cyprus astronomy community. Its altitude and dark skies make it one of the island's better places to observe the night sky, and it hosts guided sessions with telescopes and public astronomy events. On the Cyprus Now calendar it appears for open observation nights, such as a gathering for the Perseid meteor shower.
